There is just something about that breaded crunch that goes so perfectly with a salad. I have always been a huge fan of croutons!
Â
There are so many varieties you can get from the store, but nothing will ever compare to freshly prepared croutons made at home. The great thing is, they are super easy to make and they don’t require many ingredients!
Â
Making them from Hawaiian rolls is almost like a dessert on top of the salad! They are the best! Trust me! Give it a try!
Ingredients
3 Hawaiian Rolls
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Set the oven for 350 degrees.
Cut up the Hawaiian rolls into crouton-sized bites.
Place them in a foil-lined pan and drizzle with olive oil.Â
Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss them around so that each crouton is covered.
Place the pan into the oven and bake for about 13 minutes flipping the croutons every few minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Then serve immediately!
