Easter Egg Wreath

My front door has a simple wreath on it at this moment. It has white flowers and some light greenery. It’s nothing special but it is a good “in between the holidays filler” as I prepare for the next project. This one happens to be the Easter Egg Wreath!

I wanted to start a little early with this one because it will have all faux materials—that means it can look happy on my front door for weeks on end! Yes!!

Luckily I saved a few wreath forms from Christmas that I knew I could use again. Usually I don’t like saving things that I am not 100 percent sure about, but we are at The Paper Cut Place aren’t we? So of course, there is a 100 percent chance that these will be used again!

Let’s bring them back into action!

Materials

  • Wreath form

  • Plastic Easter Eggs

  • Moss

  • Dried flowers

  • Rafia

  • Freshly cut evergreen branches (I used cypress clippings)

  • A variety of Easter paper cutouts

  • Craft drops

  • Hot glue gun

How to Assemble

  • Start by taking small bunches of the evergreen clippings and attach them to the wreath form all the way around.

  • Take your hot glue gun and glue the moss to the inner section of the wreath.

  • Lightly wind some rafia around the finished circle.

  • Once this is complete, continue using the hot glue gun to attach dried flowers to the moss.

  • Then glue some plastic eggs to the bottom center of the wreath and add some craft drops to them to add a little more interest.

  • And finally, hang up your wreath, get you preferred “Happy Easter” cut out and attach it to the door or wall in the center (I used an adhesive foam square for mine).

This took a little time to get it how I wanted it, but I in the end I was pleased. There are so many different ways to decorate an Easter wreath with things you already have at home. Get creative but most importantly have fun!
