Thanksgiving Aquarium Background Design

This project is a little unconventional for this site, but nevertheless it is a much needed paper craft project in my life right now.

During the holidays, I like to add a few decorative sentiments to my fish aquarium. Unfortunately, there is not much in the way of Thanksgiving aquarium décor (unless someone can point me in the right direction). I do have a pumpkin but that is about it. So I had to get creative.

I decided to use some images I drew previously on my iPad to create a festive background. These images were originally used for stickers that I sell on my Etsy account. If you’re interested in those, please take a look: ThePaperCutPlaceShop

I put together various drawings including my Fall tree, scarecrow, turkey and holiday pumpkins. Then I printed out 3 pages on white cardstock, glued them together, added some extra details and attached them to the back of my aquarium.

It turned out to be a cute idea and I expect to do something similar for Christmas.

Hopefully this idea will inspire you as well if you happen to have a fish aquarium!

Happy Holidays and enjoy!
