Accordion Fold Card
- Begin with a 12” x 6” piece of cardstock.
- Score from top to bottom every 4 inches creating three 4-inch sections.
- From the left fold the first section forward and then fold the second section back creating a valley and a peak.
- Now you’ve created a basic Accordion Fold card that can be decorated in endless ways.
- This card will fit perfectly in an A4 (4.25” x 6.25”) envelope.
Here’s what I did. . .
For the Panels
- Cut 4 panels out of your favorite decorative card stock measuring 3.5” x 4.5”
- Next cut 4 smaller layering panels measuring 3” x 4”
- And lastly cut 4 final decorative panels measuring 1 ¾” x 4”
- I used my iPad to draw out and print my design for 3 panels and reserved the 4th panel to handwrite a message.
Putting it together
- Carefully glue each set of panels together and then glue them onto the card.
- I used craft foam squares to raise the front panel for more interest.
Let’s Decorate!
- This is the fun part! I used glitter drops to add dots throughout the entire card.
- Then I added some string to tie it all up in the end making it seem like the card is a gift itself
