I love flowers! They work amazingly at brightening up any kind of room! With Saint Patrick’s Day coming up, I figured why not arrange some Saint Patrick’s Day themed flowers?
This project makes a great gift for friends or family and it is very easy to do. It can be modified in so many ways, you really can’t go wrong. All you really need is plants, paper and an idea of how you want to present them together!
I have several Saint Patrick’s Day items on my computer so I got to printing and cutting! Now how will I integrate paper cuts with a vase full of flowers and greenery? Hmm. . .
First Things First
I found a nice vase I had set aside for a couple of years and figured it was high time to put it back to work!
Â
Did I buy flowers? No way! It was a nice sunny day, so I went outside to my backyard and picked some African Cape Daisies, Geraniums and a handful of succulents.
Â
I don’t claim to be amazing at flower arranging but I did my best and was pleased!
What About the Paper Cuts?
That was the question. I made my way over the Silhouette Design store for the leprechaun and coin patterns, grabbed some green ribbon and made a bit of a Leprechaun skirt to go around my vase. Not bad!
Â
Then I attached some of the shamrocks to some of the greenery. Even better!
Now for the coins. . .I decided those would be best placed around my finished product.

This was a fun project to do. It adds cheer to my home and makes me feel good. Sometimes, a few flowers is all you or someone else might really need to brighten up the day!
