I’ve been in a weird mood all week which can be seen in my latest card posts! There are so many intricate folds cards can take on but I wanted to go back to the basics on this one.
If you’re new to card making or if you’re simply in a hurry, one simple fold with a few words of text may be the way to go! Well, actually, two folds because we have a liner on the inside of this card for smooth writing! Plus it makes it look a little more fancy!
I’ll admit, I was one of those who was in a hurry this week so this one was whipped up very quickly.
In addition to that, I’ve detected several strands of gray hairs on my head! I was in shock! How long have those been there?! Oh the inspiration that was about to turn into a blog post!
I took myself along with my newly noticed silver (sounds more classy than gray) strands to the craft room and started to create!

I grabbed a 10”x7” piece of light gray cardstock and folded it in half.
Then I went on my computer, created a dark gray square and added my preferred text. I printed this out on my Pixma printer and cut my paper out into a 4.25”x 4.25” square.
Next, I got some adhesive foam squares and attached my dark gray square to my light gray folded card. Simple yet perfect!

Lastly, I folded a piece of printer paper in half and cut it down to 9 ¾” x 6 ¾.” Then I glued only the fold of the printer paper onto the fold of the card. This way, the printer paper seems more like pages within the card.

Now my very gray card is complete! Easy enough to make right? Enjoy!
