Growing pumpkins is an annual tradition that never fails to lose its novelty.
Planting seeds and finding that they’ve begun to sprout always stirs some sort of excitement in me. Suddenly there are vines and flowers everywhere. As far as pumpkins go, it feels like such a long process to get to the final result.

In the meantime, there are always crafts! Pumpkin crafts, that is. They are a great and unique substitute to the real deal. And being that they’re homemade instead of homegrown makes it equally as delightful!
Gathering just the right materials around the house and putting them together in just the right way can create the most perfect treat!
In this case, I used wooden pumpkin cutouts, paint, die cuts, ribbon and moss! Voila!
