A bag of Halloween goodies wouldn’t be complete without a ghoulish looking gift bag to put them in!
I came up with this project purely by accident!
There was a solid black paper gift bag that was originally given as a swag bag at a party to mark the beginning of the football season. After the items were removed, we were left with this lonely black bag that was about to be thrown into the closet with all of the other gift bags.
But I wondered. What if I tried to put it through my die cutting machine instead? The paper is thin and the bag is small enough. So I decided to give it a whirl!
I got some of my favorite Halloween dies out, placed them on the bag and carefully ran it through the die cutting machine. Suddenly a new project was born!
I grabbed some additional paper and made some separate die cuts and got to gluing them onto the bag. And lastly, for that last piece of spooky fun, I got the glow drops out and gave the bag a coat of green glow in the dark drops!
Once everything was dry, I got some green and white tissue paper, crinkled it up and put it into the bag. My project was officially complete!
Super easy and looks great! I highly recommend this one to make your Halloween gifts look spook-takular!
